All right, the idea is great and you used two pictures of similar quality for this, to there is nothing wrong there. If you wanted it to look more realistic, the perspective is very important. You can still use the tiny man that you chose, but maybe you should move him to the edge of the flip flop, because it looks like he is lying down flat, while the flip flop is rounded, whitch is impossible... At least that is what I think. If you tilted the tiny man and moved him a little to the left I think the perspective would work. A minor detail would be that the photo has a lot of nothing on it, like from under the flip flop is nothing, and it takes up 30 to 40 % of the photo, maybe you should chop that away unless it has a purpose, like making it look like htere is a long way down. I think it would look fine, if not better without all that nothing under the flip flop.
Also, when you moved or placed the tiny man, you should blur the edges a tiny bit as well, making him blend in with everything else. It looks like the lighting source is comming fron the same place on both the tiny man and the foot, and that is a great plus, otherwise they would not fit well together. I also like it that you have not given him any shaddows, because they would naturaly be dropping behind him like they are on the foot. It is a really good idea and it shows some of the dangerous situations the small people have to go through. The things I said is not by all means correct, but it is what I think could be done different, so don't blaim me if it doesn't work or ruins the picture.
